I love it when things catch me off guard (in a good way). Every now and then something catches my eye or I experience something that wows me. I love the feeling when something makes my head turn or gets me to sit up and take notice. That happened tonight as we pulled into the hotel. You tell me, what kind of car is this??:

Warning
While I am the lead pastor at The Journey North Community Church, they are in no way responsible for what happens here. Its all my fault. You can expect thoughts about spiritual growth, leadership and church planting but you are just as likely to run into my completely random thoughts or finds. Consider yourself warned...

It’s a Saturn Sky, which I now sell. (I’ll send an explanation e-mail in a minute.) There are two base engines. One is an ecotech 2.4 L inline 4 that delivers 172 hp. (faster than it sounds.) The other is a 2L turbo that comes in at 260 and goes from 0-60 in 5.5 sec. They come loaded with everything and are a very safe, and believe it or not, fuel efficient car. The turbo gets 28 mpg-and that’s by the 2008 EPA standards. The front end design is based on the ‘65 Corvette Stingray. If you sit in one, that’s exactly what you feel like you’re looking out over. The front end opens up and away from the vehicle to reveal the engine, just like those classics did. It’s an extremely cool car, and the most loaded ones can still be had for about $27,000.
Mark- I find this weird. I’ll explain more in the e-mail.
