I don’t want people to be transparent if they lack emotional intelligence. I would rather they fake it.
The Emotional Intelligence Test will evaluate several aspects of your emotional intelligence and will suggest ways to improve it.
I took it.

Interesting test. I scored a 120.
This is what it said about that.
According to your self-report answers, your emotional intelligence is good. People who score like you do feel that they have little trouble understanding and dealing with their own emotions and those of others. They generally are able to overcome difficulties in their lives and they are able to control their moods in all but the most trying of times. It’s easy for them to motivate themselves to overcome obstacles and reach their goals. In addition, they find social interactions to be quite easy and fulfilling, for several reasons. They are comfortable allowing themselves to get close with others, and feel comfortable being vulnerable enough to establish intimacy. They also report having an easy time offering support to others; this is likely due to an empathetic nature and a clear mind when it comes to offering good advice.

I scored a 117. I guess I am not as emotionally aware as I thought…

Ouch . . . I scored a 92. This is not a surprise to me. This is an area that I am working hard at right now.
This is what it said: According to your self-report answers, your emotional intelligence is slightly below average. People who score like you do feel that their ability to understand and deal with their own emotions and those of others is just barely acceptable. Emotionally intelligent people have an easy time overcoming difficulties in their lives and they are generally able to control their moods. They also report having an easy time offering support to others; likely due to an empathetic nature and a solid ability to offer advice. Perhaps by working on your problem areas, you can become more confident in dealing with your own emotions and those of others.

Wow! You’re a super human emotional maturity guru
I feel so inadequate in your presence with my 141 score.
I didn’t spend money on the full report but you did create enough interest to pique my curiosity and get me to spend a few minutes taking the test.
So, in the hour that you had to evaluate me, was I transparent?

I scored 123. Not sure what that means though. What would be a good score at the peak of 100 or at 155?
Remember…I live with a very trying individual so I think that should have had a handicap.

I would think at least 30-40 point handicap would be completely appropriate.
